Introduction

The main idea of the introduction was explaining how fast food has impacted the lives of our American people, like the secret officers in the mountain who even though they're suppose to be in a secret military base, still can't resist the urge of dominoes pizza or The Whooper.
1. The amount of money spent on fast food is more than snything else including education, tv, CD's, or anything.
2. Fast food is worth studying because so many things make it up and it is just a genius way how companies like McDonalds can lure us to their food despite their obvious health concerns.
3. Some observations that the author makes are he talks not only about how disgusting and horrible the food is, but also how smart and advanced it is and how great a company like McDonalds has been about to make money from all these years.
4. The hearth of the fast food industry is Colorado.
5. The authors says that the independent farmers are running out and they're being replaced by factories and machines made for these huge companies.
6.The author says that the meat packing industry is now one of the most dangerous jobs now because they take in untrained people who don't know what they're doing and it leads to a larger spread of diseases because they don't know how to properly process and package the meat.
7. The author wrote this book because he wants to inform people about what's really in that burger before you eat it.
